Ed Felson's Notes:
Everyone welcome. Dust off your axe. Come to the Wisp and sit in with professional musicians. There is no other way to play at this world renowned club. Better practice a little first; Have a standard jazz tune ready to play; Singers and musicians: Know the key you want to sing/play in.
With yours truly, Ed Felson, on bass; Ron Enyard on drums; and hosted by flutist/alto saxophonist Sandy Suskind. Lot's of good, young (and older) players have been showing up. It's a real-world experience for aspiring jazz musicians.
Ed Felson is part owner of the Blue Wisp, musical director, and a jazz bassist.
